Porcelain stoneware tiles are fired at 1200°C and are made from a mixture of quartz and kaolin.
As a rule, this material is very hard and resistant to abrasion and water absorption, but it absorbs contaminants that over time can become very difficult to remove. The Marmor - Glanz team performs machine cleaning of stoneware surfaces using a carefully selected, appropriate cleaning agent. The agent is spread using a single disc scrubber fitted with a cleaning pad of appropriately selected hardness. Proper maintenance of stoneware tiles is a considerable challenge, especially for owners of public buildings (e.g. large-format stores). However, periodic cleaning performed by professionals is the cheapest, least onerous, and safest solution.
