Our renovation of the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan was based on the method of deep steam penetration in selected pressure, with the use of auxiliary methods, including synthetic deep-penetrating tools to obtain a clean and smooth target surfaces. We owe the great work result not only to the experience of our employees, but also, to a great extent, to the final use of polyester resins and preparations made in the MGB Lotus L2/L4 nanotechnology.
During the period of socialism, the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan was the Lenin Museum. The monumental edifice is made of beautiful white marble, with the contrasting Nero Impala granite. Royal halls and corridors of the current museum are majestically decorated with Rojo Alicante, Botticiono, Bianco Sivec, and Rosso Siena stone. Beauty and splendour of the place emphasize the power of former builders. Thanks to our experience, we were entrusted with the complex operation of cleaning, restoration, and protection of natural stone.

For almost a month, a team of 20 specialists from Marmor - Glanz performed the assigned tasks. We cleaned the whole stone façade of the huge building. We filled in chips but we also had to replace some eroded stones and add some missing stone details. This work was a real test of stonemasonry skills. You can see for yourself—we passed it!

The State Museum of History of Uzbekistan is a great example of combining the Marmor - Glanz team experience with the latest chemical technology in the field of natural stone care. We always look forward to new, difficult challenges in natural stone restoration. If you are interested in our services, please contact our office. We also recommend using MGB Lotus L2/L4 preparations for daily, cyclic protection and care of stone.
