Sandstone exposed to atmospheric conditions (especially water) and urban pollution easily becomes covered with decolourising residue, dust, or soot.

Depending on the type of stone and amount of dirt, we choose the most effective work method.

Sandstone exposed to atmospheric conditions (especially water) and urban pollution easily becomes covered with decolourising residue, dust, or soot. Its porous structure facilitates penetration of dirt into sandstone and its cleaning becomes a challenge—it requires deep penetration of the material without disturbing the stone structure (especially important when washing ornaments). To remove stubborn dirt, such as soot, we locally apply chemical agents before washing—this softens the residue, which is then washed away.

We approach each order individually—before cleaning work, we always carry out a test that allows us to choose the best and most effective method.
